Soul Survivor [14-18’s]
10,000 young people. Passionate worship. Quality teaching. Powerful time with God.
In 2005 we took 12. In 2006 we took 28 and in 2007 we took 39. Word is getting around. If you are 14-18 years old then Soul Survivor is well worth a visit. This year on 16th to 21st August we’re taking about 32.
Young people need space, and soul survivor provides that. It’s very cool. And it’s really encouraging to see that you’re not the only young Christian in the world. As well as that, it’s really good fun. You stay up late going to cafes and gigs and hanging out on a huge campsite in Somerset with 10,000 other young people talking about life and doing crazy things.
What more could you want in 5 days? So if you want to meet God, know this - he wants to meet you. If you’ve never been you should come, get in touch and join our group next summer.
Weekend away: March [14-18’s]
Our weekends away are seriously good getaways for 14-18 year olds giving you some space to have a good time with your friends and go deeper with God.
Basically, at Revolution we are about 2 things, being together and being with God. If we were just about being together we would be the same as any other social group. And if we were just about being with God we would miss out on being a community of crazy people living this crazy life.
The March weekend away provide you with the opportunity to get to know each other better in a much smaller environment as have a weekend of fun and teaching that will give you memories to remember.
Fort Rocky weekend away [11-13’s]
Fort Rocky is an excellent weekend away for young people in school years 7-9 run by Youth For Christ.
We have been going to Fort Rocky for a couple of years now and it has been brilliant. There were Rocky Roadshows full of mad games and competitions, wicked music and amazing stories of God getting involved in people’s lives. The activities were good too, there was a high ropes course, an assualt course which you could race around, climbing walls, abseiling walls, a zip wire, archery room, football cage, basketball court and loads more as well. My personal favourite has got to be the big bounce… go to the gallery to see for yourself.

VENTURES [11-13’s]
Why choose a venture?
They’re SAFE, they’re GREAT HOLIDAYS, they’re VALUE FOR MONEY, and they’re FULL OF GOD. All sounds good to me.
Ventures are run by CPAS, the Church Pastoral Aid Society, and aim to help young people encounter God in a way that’s relevant to them. Young people from 8-18 years can go on these Venture Camps, in our Parish we particularly encourage those aged 11-13 to go as a group and have a great time together.
They offer great christian teaching and offer young people the space to explore their faith on a deeper level.
