St Andrews Church Hall
Mondays (fortnightly), 7:30-9:00pm.

Want somewhere where you feel at home but you’re not? Try it, you might like it.

We play mad games together, hang out together, do fundraising stuff together…. You get the idea. We try and be there for each other + help each other out with stuff. Having God in your life is good. but he wants us to have friends too.

The Vibe started in 2003 to try and meet the needs - spiritual and social - of young people in years 7-9. Over time its grown from a mad meeting in someone’s lounge to a combination of big and small group experiences within one evening, with space to play and space to chill + chat.

We do a couple of big socials each term too, like visiting the cinema or going ice skating or having a BBQ and massive water fight night. We have also been to Thorpe Park and HOAC (Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre) and had numerous trips to Pizza Hut.

I love the Vibe, It’s mad, but it’s definitely all good.

Life…It’s all about you…Or is it?

So many people telling you how to live! Cells offer you space to work it out for yourselves. Space to ask questions, to offer your take on the world, and investigate God’s. Our policy is that if God’s not pushy, then we’re not gonna be either, he gives us room to explore what it means to live life to the full. So far, our explorations have taken us to redecorating houses, gardening, documentary making, mcflurry tasting, playing bible charades, studying the art of connecting + watching nooma dvd’s.

Cell groups are run by young people for young people, so everyone has a say in how things are run, and what we do with our time. Whatever you are good at, there’s space for you to get involved and be a blessing to others.

Cells began in September 2005 with the aim to empower young people into leadership and encourage participation in our youthwork. For some time we had worked with young people to prepare and lead their groups, but we felt the time had come to step up their level of responsibility and involvement in the management and delivery of the youthwork. It has been a great privilege to work with the cell leaders, to see them experiment with different ways of leading, to become more committed to their relationship with God and to the church in which they serve. Our hope is that as we work with the few, many will benefit.
